I was lucky enough to visit the Auchencairn Guy Fawkes Fireworks Display on 5th November 2017. The weather being extremely good - no rain, no cloud, and only modestly cold - I thought I'd have a go at photographing fireworks, a task I have never seriously attempted before. I read up a bit about how to do it and this link is pretty good ==> Darren Rose at https://digital-photography-school.com/how-to-photograph-fireworks/. I visited the site before nightfall and found what I thought was a good position. I prepared my camera before leaving, setting, in particular, manual focus at infinity, lens stabilisation off, f/8 as a probable "good" ape
I love to dabble in mainly digital abstract art and have been using Bryce for a number of years now. I use PaintShop Pro and Photoshop Elements for any correction/manipulation; sometimes Gimp and/or Paint.NET. I sometimes also use Apophysis and Xenodream to create fractals.
