I've got around, at long last Pamela, to looking at this. Is it another puzzle based one? Nine hues, nine numbers? The other point with these is that you run into classic optical effects of adjacent complimentary colours, after images and so on. I think this type of elongated image, without some other clue as to what is going on, may verge on the design (nothing wrong with that) rather than the artistic.
