ULTRA MACRO A few weeks ago Lauredin (https://www.deviantart.com/lauredin) posted this photograph of ordinary sugar, entitled 544, which was classed as an ultra macro shot. Intrigued by this Lauredin told me how to go about such work using two lenses and a coupling ring. The basic idea is that you take a long focal length lens, attach it normally to your camera, then using a coupling ring attach another lens in reverse to the first lens. This gives a magnification of the focal length of the first lens divided by the focal length of the second.
